Salah satu warga setempat, Agus Supendi, mengatakan bahwa memang warna laut di sekitar Pantai Karapyak sangat unik. "Karena, suasana warna langit dan awannya itu selalu mendukung. Terus, warna lautnya juga bagus. Jadi, pemandangan pantainya sangat indah," ujarnya.
